1. Effective March 30th, Southwind Gate Hours will be 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. M-F, excluding holidays. The Board is also considering adding Saturday coverage. An owner's survey is in progress and can be accessed at http://southwind.eunify.net.
2. Speeding through the Gate area, on Southwind Drive and Windlake Drive, is problematic. The posted speed limit in the Gate Area is 5 MPH, 20 MPH on other Southwnd Roads unless otherwise published. We look for residents to comply, as it is in our collective best interests. Other calming measures, including speed humps, are being discussed. Although posted speeds are limits, in the housing areas, slower is often warranted. Drive defensively and watch for pedestrians.
2. We have adjusted the RFID Reader to pick up as you are abeam the gate house and open by the time you reach the Reader. Please transition the gate at 5-10 MPH; do not tailgate, and only proceed through the gate when the gate arm is green.
3. Contracting Services. Work may only be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday (except in emergencies). Residents should remind contractors to park with traffic, not block a driveway, and not park on a curve.

If your vendor or contractor is on this list, you do not need to issue the vendor a Virtual QR Code for access.
Vendors, Contractors, and Service Businesses (including Real Estate Agents) routinely servicing Southwind, Sunset Beach, or Coach Homes may request permanent registration for the visitor gate.

The next Southwind Quarterly Board Meeting is on Wednesday, June 10th, via Zoom.
Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. A physical location is available by request in the High 4 Management Conference Room. Meeting Information and the agenda are posted 48 hours in advance. For more information, contact the Association Property Manager.
