Parents of Young Drivers
Posted on Jun 14th, 2011

Teenagers and young adults often find themselves outside the gate, riding with a friend, with no clicker to get in. Not wanting to wake parents late at night, they try creative ways of getting in – resulting in the costly destruction of gates and landscaping. Plan ahead – contact the property manager and have your child’s cell phone programmed in at the gate. They always have their cell phones – this way they can call their own cell phone number from the keypad and open the gate. If you suspect or know that your child has damaged Southwind property, contact the property manager immediately. It is much better if you and your child resolve the problem before local authorities become involved.
