Boy Scouts Pine Straw Fundraiser

Boy Scout Troop 157 is preparing for their signature fundraiser, the 5th Annual Pine Straw Sell and Delivery, which funds their scout program, sends many scouts to camp, as well as funding both service projects and Eagle Scout projects.
Some of their projects include:
  • Building a goat playground and chicken coop benefiting Grace Rides
  • Building new trash receptacles and fencing and Fred Gannon State Park
  • Installing a paver patio and picnic tables for the Good News Methodist Church
  • Installing 15 rescue and float stations at Sandestin and Henderson Beach
Scouts will be supervised by a Southwind Resident while on site. Scouts will be hanging informational brochures via door hangers which include pricing, order taking date and delivery date between Monday, January 15 and Sunday, January 21. Orders will be collected on Saturday, January 27. Pine Straw is scheduled for delivery on March 2nd and 3rd.
 
Please note you are under no obligation to participate nor purchase from the Scout Troop whatsoever. Southwind Property Owners Association, and its Board of Directors, does not endorse Scout Troop 157, and has no direct affiliation to the troop nor its parent organization.
